The 4-Flowgates

May 17, 2016 By Julian Kaufmann

4-flowgates

In my upcoming book Let Go, Let It Flow – a P.A.T.H. to peace and personal power, I present a 4-part framework describing the Flowgates that regulate the amount of Flow (divine life energy) that travels through us.

My theory of conductivity states that we are conductors of God’s energy and that as prime movers we convert God’s energy into our life’s work.  It is my goal to help you be more efficient in this conversion process – to waste less and to produce more.

P.A.T.H. is an acronym for the 4-Flowgates of:

  1. Presence
  2. Acceptance
  3. Thankfulness
  4. Helping

Electricity is one of the 4-fundamental forces of our universe.  And when discussing Flow, we are describing an energy flow that has many properties similar to electricity.

When measuring  the flow of electrical energy, we observe the relative ease of flow of the charged particles – electrons. Electrical resistance is a measure of how difficult it is for the electrons to flow.

The inverse of resistance is conductance, and this measure describes how easy it is to flow.

There is an inverse relationship between resistance and conductance.

As we’ll see, that as resistance goes up, the corresponding conductance goes down. The reverse is true. That as resistance goes down, conductance goes up.

What regulates flow?

If you can imagine turning on a faucet, as you turn on the handle, you open the valve more, so you can get more flow. The video below is taken from my course Flow 101 –What Is It and How to Get More of It.

Right now I am offering this as a Free course.

A Bowlful of Desire

May 10, 2016 By Julian Kaufmann

As part of my meditation practice I like to use sound to help my brain slow down.

As a musician I have been gifted with a good ear for rhythm and melody. My body, mind and mood respond to sound rapidly and match the corresponding frequency of the music I am listening to.

Recently I began experimenting with Tibetan singing bowls.

In case you are not familiar with them I have included a link below this post for you to check out.

My singing bowl is designed to resonate with my throat chakra – a center where when properly activated allows me to speak universal truth.

My singing bowl also reminded me of the tale of the Beggar’s Bowl which is retold below:

The Beggar's Bowl
The Beggar’s Bowl

The lesson of the story is that our desire can be impossible to satisfy. No matter how hard we try to fill ourselves with external things we are left empty, wanting more.

We can however break this cycle of craving, stuffing and remaining empty only to long for more, by simply becoming aware of our desire. We can stop and appreciate what we have and the gifts already within us.

Please let me know about your bowl and the lengths you may have gone in the past to try and fill it.

Waste Not Want Not, Conserve Energy in Your Spiritual Home

May 3, 2016 By Julian Kaufmann

Did you remember to turn off the lights?
Did you remember to turn off the lights?

The British are known for drinking tea. In her TED presentation1, Leyla Acaroglu stated that in the United Kingdom, 97 percent of households have an electric tea kettle, and 65 percent of tea drinkers admit to overfilling their kettles, boiling way more water than they need for a cup of tea. These tea drinkers were wasting relatively small amount of energy for every cup of tea they drank. Based on government calculations of energy use, Acaroglu reported that one day’s worth of wasted energy use from all these kettles is enough to light the streetlights in London for a night.

Small amounts of wasted energy can really add up.

When you leave your home to go to work or run an errand – do you leave all the lights on in your house even when no one is there? Or do you leave your home’s windows open while either heating or cooling your home? What about when driving your car, do you drive with one foot pressing on the accelerator and the other one pressing on the brakes? I would guess that you don’t do these things because you don’t want to waste energy because it costs you money and because you want to conserve energy.

The most affordable way to generate energy is to not waste it in the first place.

What about your spiritual home? Could you be a better steward with the precious life energy that you have received?

What do you do to conserve, to honor and more effectively utilize your spiritual energy in your soul’s abode -the place where God ultimately expresses as our selves.

Whatever your spiritual belief, the truth is that we are energetic beings and our spiritual energy (our life) is the most precious resource available to us. We can’t afford to keep squandering this resource.

Just like we have had energy crisis related to the earth and our use of natural resources, we too are having a spiritual energy crisis involving our supernatural resources. It is critically important for our own lives and those around us that we practice and S.E.E. That is we practice – spiritual(S) energy(E) efficiency (E).

Each of us has a calling, a unique purpose and it is up to each of us to live the best life we can in order for us to flourish. The divine energy that comprises us was manifest to activate our God given potential.

In many ways we are like an acorn. Given the right environment and care, we can grow and prosper – evolving from a tiny seedling into a mighty oak that it turn provides for others in the forest.

But if we are needlessly wasting divine energy through resistance, we are squandering great gifts and ultimately we will not live up to our full capabilities.

Too often we do not activate the potential that is available to us and our gifts and our calling remain locked away inside us.

The stress and busyness of life builds up and can interfere with us living our life – of experiencing our Flow.

We choke off portions of the infinite supply from our Source and do not perform the great work of our soul’s purpose.

It is time to take the power back!

Please spread the word and have others join us the next energy revolution, becoming a Prime Mover today!

Riptide

April 26, 2016 By Julian Kaufmann

When the weather’s fine; We go fishing or go swimming in the sea
We’re always happy; Life’s for living, yeah, that’s our philosophy

In the Summertime – Mungo Jerry

Summer will be here soon and, if we are fortunate, we can spend some time down by the shore.

When we learn how to swim in the ocean we are cautioned to swim with and not against the ocean’s current –particularly in the case of encountering a riptide while swimming.

Riptides occur when the ocean waves after breaking on the shore retreat back to the sea very quickly, concentrating a large amount of water into a relatively narrow space.

The wave’s energy traveling through the water is confined as the water returns back to the ocean from the shore, thus increasing the force and power of the water as it travels through the guide. The retreating, rushing water is called a rip current. These currents are formed as the ocean water is literally being ripped back to the sea due to the powerful forces of the ocean. If you are ever caught in a rip current while swimming in the ocean and if you don’t go with the direction of the current, the flow, you may well drown, as you are no match for the mighty sea. Try as you might, you may eventually give out of energy, as you struggle in vain against a force much greater than you.

While perhaps not as drastic as fighting a rip-current while swimming in the ocean, our lives on land are also harmed by us fighting the flow, the Flow of life itself. By not going with the Flow, we are wasting precious, divine energy and not fully harnessing the infinite potential that resides within us. As a result of not flowing with life, we are wasting our life’s energy. Needlessly we resist, we struggle and as a result we suffer.

There is a better way to live and that is to go with and not against the Flow.

By going with the Flow and not resisting it, we are practicing energy efficiency since we are not expending energy in opposition to the force of our Source Energy – God. By not resisting, we can more fully tap into the infinite potential that exists for us, and allow more of the divine energy of Life to flow through us.   When we go with the flow, we work with life and in turn life works with us and ultimately through us.

Jump into the river of life – the water is fine. Enjoy your swim!

Namaste.

What's the Frequency Kenneth?

April 19, 2016 By Julian Kaufmann

If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration. – Tesla

There is a direct relationship between frequency and energy. Albert Einstein and Max Planck established this construct many years ago. The relationship goes like this:

  • As the frequency is increased, so is the energy increased
  • As the frequency is decreased, so is the energy decreased

Today I tried a little science experiment with an exercise bike to show the effect of frequency on energy output. Please see the video for more:

You can try similar experiments for your self or simply believe Mr. Einstein and Mr. Planck. Please let me know what you try if you want to try it for your self.

Now that we have established the relationship with energy and frequency, how can we use this information for our benefit?

Let’s think about it – literally.

Recall our brains consume much more energy on a prorata basis compared to their mass. See the post – How to stop the Brain Drain.

Our brain operates in states that are defined by brain wave frequencies, which are shown in the table below:

Brain Wave State Frequency (HZ) Notes
Beta 14-30 Awake, normal alert to anxious
Alpha 9-13 Relaxed, calm, lucid, not thinking (Flow)
Theta 4-8 Deep relaxation/ meditation, Mental Imagery
Delta 1-3 Deep, Dreamless Sleep

Unfortunately we often end up operating our brains in the higher frequency regions which ultimately consume more energy than is needed.

Watch your speed! Conserve your energy – meditate.
